Contract Pipe Welder

We are looking for Contract/ Fixed-term Pipe Welders to join us for a period of 3-6 months.

Hourly rate of £20 – £26, dependant on experience and shift.

We are looking for Pipe Welders who are (or have previously been) coded in welding 3mm-8mm thick stainless steel and who would be confident in their ability to obtain codes within 7-10 days. Experience or working with vacuum/cryogenic and pressure vessels would also be a strong advantage.

A weld test will be required prior to appointment

The Role

• Predominantly Pipe and TIG welding – working to accredited, regulatory codes
• Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Non welding eg forming, grinding, operating overhead cranes

Hours

We currently have availability on both our late and early shifts:

Early – 05:45 – 13:45 Monday to Thursday, 05:55 – 13:00 Fridays

Late – 14:15 – 22:25 Monday to Thursday, 13:00 – 19:00 Fridays (paid at shift premium)

Overtime also readily available.

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
