Our Story – Decades of Expertise in Pressure Vessel Manufacturing
Founded in 2005 as part of the LTi Metalltechnik Group, LTi Metaltech built on a strong engineering heritage through Siemens MR Magnet Technology. From the outset, we set our sights on delivering high-volume, high-integrity pressure vessels to the most demanding sectors — where precision, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable.
Over the years, we have manufactured more than 15,000 cryogenic pressure vessel sets for MRI systems installed in hospitals worldwide. Each one is a testament to our meticulous standards and the trust placed in us to support life-saving medical technology.
In 2021, we took a major step forward with the acquisition of LTi Vessco in Wales. This expansion broadened our capabilities into bespoke, low-volume fabrication for highly specialised projects, complementing our high-volume expertise and reinforcing our long-term growth strategy in the medical technology sector.
Today, our story continues as we invest in advanced technologies, nurture one of the UK’s most skilled welding teams, and strengthen our role as a trusted partner to customers who need engineering solutions where performance and compliance come first.
